We thought we would start 2005 off with something different and personal to keep you posted on what was happening in our lives.  At present, our web site is still under construction.  Brian is making an effort to present you with our entire spectrum of family happenings so this site will change continuously as we learn how do do new things, add stories, pictures and happenings in the lives of our family.
The emblem at the top left is supposed to be the official "KUNTZ" family armorial - that and $1.50 will get you a cup of decaffinated coffee

Brian and Kathy are still residing here in Dayton and both work at Kettering Medical Center.

Brian is the EMS Coordinator for Kettering & Sycamore Hospital.  His job involves many different responsibilities.  His main role is the interface between local fire/ems agencies, county and regional agencies and the hospital . He also sits on many committees that involve the hospital with WMD and Domestic Preparedness.
He is still involved with Homeland Security's DMAT team here in Dayton and did some deployments this summer to the Republican Convention in NYC and a deploy to Port Saint Lucie, Florida for Hurricane Francis.  You can go to the DMAT section to learn about my deployments or my Hobbies section and learn about the different hobbies I am involved in.  My newest one is geocaching - lots of fun!

Kathy is still working Labor and Delivery at KMC and enjoys it.  She has had a lot going on with her health this past year which has forced her into a part time position-- but she's not complaining.  She had hernia surgery about this time last year and then this spring she missed a step at home and ended up with a broken foot and a cast.  While in the cast she developed a thrombophlebitis in her right calf which put her in the hospital for a couple of days.  She eventually had the fracture pinned and is back to work after a long summer of injury and illness.

Dan and Becky  & Nacho Cat
Becky and Dan have been in sunny Southern California for a year and a half now.  Becky is attending medical school and Dan is teaching 8th grade science.
Becky is in the middle of her 2nd year in medical school at Loma Linda School of Medicine and doing well.  She spends all of her free time studying unless Dan can talk her into a weekend camping trip.
Dan is at Terrace Hills Middle School in Grande Terrace, Ca teaching rowdy 8th graders.   They just moved to Loma Linda from Redlands in Sept.  Becky is now close enough to walk to school and Dan doesn't have to take the freeway which can be unpredictable with those crazy California drivers.  Nacho Cat is doing well.  He loves to travel with us whenever we fly to visit family.  He spends his day eating, napping, and playing with yarn balls and the plastic ring from milk jugs.
Dan still has his turtle aquarium, and Becky just got her own aquarium for Christmas.

Tim, Bliss and Linus
Their family sure  has had a hectic and delightful year. The biggest change in their life was on December 20th 2004 when Linus Daniel entered their world and turned it upside down!  He is now one year old and nutty as ever.  The young one learned to walk when he was only 9 months old, knows exactly which buttons on the phone makes noises, and recorded his own message on the answering machine (something that Tim has as yet to figure out how to do!).
This past summer Tim finished what seemed like an endless educational endeavor, graduating from the Physician Assistant Program at Union College.  After searching for a job they ended up in Plainview, Texas.  One of those amazing moves that God must have had his hand in because they never would have imagined settling in Texas.  The practice has three doctors and they all keep plenty busy with the patient load.  Tim's involvement is mainly with pediatrics and acute care setting, both of which he enjoys immensely.
Bliss spends mot of her time chasing the hooligan, Linus around the house and trying to keep him from tearing everything up too much.  When he is sleeping and she has some free time, she keeps busy by crocheting, stamping, and all sorts of arts and crafts!!   They are all enjoying the new house and big backyard that they have.  Bliss is starting her garden and Linus tries to help move dirt for her, but mostly he just eats it.  Pretty soon he will have a partner in crime; the Lord has blessed them again, as Bliss is expecting another baby in early July of 2005.
